A peer assistance network is made up of experienced local practitioners and statewide experts. It serves to:
- listen, reflect, and give feedback
- suggest alternative strategies
- clarify systemic or structural issues
- provide resources.
These services are provided through site visits to agencies and organizations, new staff orientation, mentoring, training programs or videos, telephone or Internet conferences, and software exchange.
