The New York State Alliance for Family Literacy, the New York State Education Department, and Hudson River Center for Program Development, Inc. are pleased to announce the availability of family literacy training workshops throughout New York State. This workshop, developed by the National Center for Family Literacy is designed to meet the training needs of home visitors, teachers of adults and young children, parent educators, social workers, school administrators, and others involved or interested in a comprehensive family literacy program.
This highly interactive training:
- addresses the integration of each of the four components of a comprehensive family literacy program: Adult Education, Children's Education, Parent and Child Together (PACT) Time, and Parent Time.
- helps tie research findings to the provision of high quality family literacy services.
