The curriculum can be adapted for a variety of learning environments and civic engagement activities including ESL/Civics education classes. The goal of the curriculum is to increase the skills and self-confidence of participants regarding voting and other local decision-making processes. The curriculum includes interactive exercises designed to educate individuals about electoral politics, with an emphasis on local issues and opportunities for civic participation. Note: Downloadable versions of this curriculum in English and Spanish are available in .pdf format, and require use of the Adobe Acrobat reader. The curriculum is available in Chinese and Vietnamese and may be obtained by contacting the organization. Periodic updates of the curriculum are also provided. |
