Of the thirteen that will ultimately make up the curriculum, drafts of eight units are completed: personal information, American schools, your community, housing, consumer information, money management, emergencies and disasters, safety, and parenting. Each unit consists of modules for low beginning, high beginning, and low intermediate students. The core text of the curriculum features pictures and true stories of immigrants who have been change agents in their homes, workplaces, and communities.
